Biography: W. K. Lai received a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 1984 and a Ph. D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1992. He joined the faculty of Department of Computer Science and Engineering, National Sun Yat-Sen University in August 1992 and is now a professor. His research interests are in high-speed networks and wireless networks.
